During the Spring 2023 semester, my teammate, Novelly Whitt, and I took on the role of artist managers in a comprehensive project focused on talent discovery and development within the music industry. We navigated the A&R process to identify emerging talent, then worked on raising capital to support an independent album release. Our responsibilities included collaborating with producers, record labels, booking agents, and music publishers and securing sponsorships and endorsements for our artist, Pink Blush. We culminated the project by devising a strategic release plan that managed their career's financial, legal, and creative aspects.
